About the Shamrocks
We are a non-profit organization teaching and developing boys and girls ages five to fourteen
in the sports of Football, Baseball, and Cheerleading. We are part of an "instructional"
league (AYL),
however we are also a very competitive league,
the Shamrocks had 7 playoff teams and 3 league champions in 2004.
Every year many of our baseball teams are in the playoffs and contenders for the league championship.
Our goal is to not only teach kids how to play, but to help to develope them into confident,
self assured, goal oriented, well rounded young men and women.

We'd rather see a child go out for a pass... than pass a crack pipe.
We'd rather see a child tag a runner... than tag your business.
We'd rather see a child wear a green and white Shamrocks team uniform... than wearing the colors of our local gangs!!

The Shamrock Organization is staffed solely by volunteers.
Our mission is to schedule and conduct an instructional sports
program for the youth of the community,
irrespective of ability, race,
national origin, sex, or economic status.
